How to remain focused in uncertainties.

Haven't we all had our uncertainties in life? Haven't we all had our nail-biting moments? I remember going into surgery in 2019 to correct a malfunctioning tendon in my ring finger.  A condition called, '' Trigger Finger ''. A few minutes before the surgery, I had to sign a liability waiver in case something happens during the operation. It felt as though I was between a rock and a hard place. I couldn't continue with the pain in my hand and I couldn't risk losing my hand should the surgery fail. As I stared at my signature, it felt as though I had just signed my life away. As the doctors carried out the operation all I could feel was fear.  I wanted to get out as quickly as I got into the operating theatre. Mentally, it was an agonizing moment.  The question of what if something goes wrong haunted my mind. I fought as best as I could to remain hopeful. I kept a brave face for the doctors, but inside I was slowly falling apart. The recovery period was a

How to find your talents and utilize them.

One of the most heart-wrenching statements I could ever hear an individual utter is, ''I have no talent.'' There is no such thing! Every individual that is living, or has lived upon this earth; was created with at least one talent. I would agree that some talents are easily identified, but this doesn't mean that those whose talents aren't obvious are without one. How can you tell if you have a talent? What do you get the most, well done,

It could be that we're tired, sick,  had a rough night, or just not in the mood. Whatever the case may be. It doesn't always work in our favor. Often when duty calls. We just have to find a way to pull through our day. It's normal to feel miserable at times. I'm not the happiest person on a Monday morning when I have to go to work. There isn't anything wrong with the day itself, but it's just not my favorite workday. There's this myth that Monday is a lazy day. I remember reading something along the line that said,  ''nothing is wrong with Monday, it's your job that sucks''.  In all fairness,  every day is a blessing. Each day provides us with a fresh start and new opportunities. The decision is ours to make good use of every twenty-four hours that we're given. Some d
