Have you ever examined the persons in your life? What purpose do they serve? Do they make your life better? Are you happier with or without them? Do they mean you well? Do they have your back? Can you honestly say that you trust them? Do they love you or only what you can do for them? If you have nothing tomorrow, will they still be around?
These are some deep questions to think about. You should always be open and brutally honest about the persons you allow into your life. Let alone, your mental and physical space. Don't ever take that for granted.
In the end, everyone who enters your life is either a blessing or a lesson. Whether they are family, friends, or strangers. Be careful who you choose to hold on to. Many of the people that you meet aren't meant to stay in your life, indefinitely. You will encounter problems; if you extend their stay. You should never prioritize someone who sees you as an option. You should never lower your standards for someone else to worm their way into your life.
Don't ever let your loneliness or desperation become your recipe for disaster. There are some people that you'll have to let go of because there will be journeys that you'll have to travel alone, and their presence will derail and deter you. Choose your peace of mind first. If you treat it any less; it will be to your destruction. Take an introspective look at these people in your life and ask yourself, do they belong here?

3.“The most beautiful people we have known are those who have known defeat, known to suffer, known struggle, known loss, and have found their way out of the depths. 4.“When you stop expecting people to be perfect, you can like them for who they are.”―
5.“We have to allow ourselves to be loved by the people who really love us, the people who really matter. Too much of the time, we are blinded by our own pursuits of people to love us, people that don't even matter, while all that time we waste and the people who do love us have to stand on the sidewalk and watch us beg in the streets! It's time to put an end to this. It's time for us to let ourselves be loved.”―
6.“You will find that it is necessary to let things go; simply for the reason that they are heavy. So let them go, let go of them. I tie no weights to my ankles.”―

8.“That's what people do who love you. They put their arms around you and love you when you're not so lovable.”―
9.“Don't be afraid of enemies who attack you. Be afraid of the friends who flatter you.”―
10.“Accept the things to which fate binds you, and love the people with whom fate brings you together, but do so with all your heart.”―
11.“Throughout life people will make you mad, disrespect you, and treat you bad. Let God deal with the things they do, cause hate in your heart will consume you too.”―
12. “You can never really know someone completely. That’s why it’s the most terrifying thing in the world, really—taking someone on faith, hoping they’ll take you on faith too. It’s such a precarious balance, It’s a wonder we do it at all. And yet..”―
13.“A man's true character comes out when he's drunk.”―

17.“When we're connected to others, we become better people.”―
18. “People are more than just the way they look.”―
19.“If you surround yourself with the good and righteous, they can only raise you up. If you surround yourself with the others, they will drag you down into the doldrums of mediocrity, and they will keep you there, but only as long as you permit it.”―
20.“All I want from you is to trust me with what little you can, and grow in loving people around you with the same love I share with you. It's not your job to change them or to convince them. You are free to love without an agenda.”
